Libris is based on text stamped onto the cloth spines of library books that have been rebound using standard library binding processes.
The letterforms were drawn from scans of rebound volumes (possibly Record Gothic).

Slipped Stitch is a monospaced type experiment inspired by clumsy embroidery, knit and crochet patterns, and the time-based repetitive processes of fiber arts. Each letterform is composed of individually placed line segments,
and draws proportional inspiration from Lettera, desigend by Josef Müller-Brockmann in the 70s.
Score is a soft and warm family with musical details. Inspired by historical and experimental music notation, the design is also informed by my own experiences playing piano and learning to read sheet music.
Score is a workhorse serif that functions well at small sizes but delivers plenty of personality when set large!
